Darcmatter ceramics is a ceramics studio founded by
Denise Aimee Rijnen in 2016.

Out of working on research projects about raw materials and the ever-changing flux of metamorphosis that they undergo at different speeds of becoming, I became interested in working with clay and becoming an agent of metamorphosis myself.

All items are designed and hand produced on the throwing wheel
by me personally. In my work I would like to pay an hommage to the tactility of rocks, from a smooth to a grainy and rough surface.
In most items you can find a contrast between those two.
